English version:
Christmas music playing in the background, an oasis of a special atmosphere was created. It's the day before Christmas Eve and the rabbits were excited about this year's Christmas present. Every year we build a new outdoor piece of furniture or wooden house for the rabbits that they can hide in or jump on. They are always really curious and happy when something new comes up. But on this day, we all just had to relax with some music, reading and some Christmas games. We sat down and wrapped ourselves in some blankets so we could keep warm. In this case, it's good to be a rabbit, because both Molly and Sandy had no problem keeping warm. It was cold, but it helped a lot to sit with blankets on. The book that was read is Danish and is in the Disney universe. It's called 'From All Us To All You', which is a Disney book with Christmas stories, which fits the occasion perfectly, which is why this book was chosen. It is also really nice to sit and read aloud to the rabbits, because most of the time they sit next to the narrator and listen. Sometimes they want to see the pictures in the cartoon and sometimes Molly puts her nice little paws up on the book and pulls it down. Sandy sits politely waiting for pictures from the Disney universe to appear in front of her snout.
It was snowing and it was cold, but that should not stop us from enjoying Christmas. The light chains that hung around the running yard were turned on so that the running yard was lit up a bit. Molly got her calendar gift, which were two kinds of treats made from 100% parsley and 100% carrot, respectively. She could smell the delicious snacks that were on their way down to her. She quickly ate them, so it was obviously something that was likeable. A little later, Sandy also received her calendar gift. Today's gift to Sandy was round snack blocks with raspberry flavor, and these she immediately ran off with, for she knew that Molly would come and steal it from her if she was not careful, so she hurried away with it. She ran away with it in her mouth, so Molly would not discover her and the snacks.
A homemade memory game had been made, in which both Molly and Sandy participated very actively. The turn game consisted of cards with different Christmas motifs. However, they mostly participated in the flipping game, where they flipped the cards themselves. They learned over time that every time they lifted a card by grasping it with their teeth and throwing it up in the air, they could obtain treats and snacks, so they began to do so. Once they had understood the concept after a practice round, we started the game. All four of us got our turn, where we could each be allowed to turn over two cards and see if they were the same. These two identical cards would give points if you found them both in your turn. We all ended up getting points, but it actually ended up being Molly who got the most points, and in a nice second place came Sandy. They actually ended up getting more points than us humans. When they turned over cards, they trampled around in the cards, which made it difficult for us humans, but the rabbits were good at remembering which card was lying where, so they got than a handful more points. They ended up being really good at the game. But after the turnaround game, they got tired and exhausted, because it had been a hard race, so they went to sleep. We were not quite done, because there was one more game, which was Christmas yatzy, which was not a homemade game. but still really fun. Sandy came right past us a single time to see what it was we were doing where Molly was content to watch it from a distance. They were too tired to play Christmas yatzy and had both gone to bed, but we humans played the game and accepted that they no longer had the energy for more Christmas games. It was still quite nice to play. It was great just to be in the company of the rabbits. They seemed to have enjoyed the Christmas spirit this day. It was almost night so we let the rabbits get some sleep so they could be fresh again for the next day. Energy had to be saved for Christmas Eve.
