A Violent Wind
Dansk:

A historic event happened for Denmark on 20 and 21 October 2023. It has been about 119 years since something like this has happened. There were warnings of storm surges and heavy rain as well as hurricanes in some parts of the country.
Fortunately, the rabbits were sheltered from the wind, because the wind came from the East and in that direction there is a forest, which took all the wind, so the rabbits hardly felt anything, either a hurricane or the stormy wind. The storm surge was not in the part of the country in which we live, but the rain caused a very wet and sloppy lawn and run, so the rabbits did not avoid getting wet paws.
Blankets and a wet bed were laid as a sleeping pad, a duvet with a water-repellent sheet on it, two pillows, a fleece blanket and some extra things as snacks, including hay bites and a mixture of dried herbs for the rabbits, and then I otherwise spent a handful of hours with the rabbits while the violent weather continued. I wanted to make sure I was ready to carry the rabbits to safety if it appeared the trees were about to give in to the wind, but as it remained relatively calm in terms of wind there was nothing to worry about talk about. The rabbits just walked around and ran their normal walks or ate hay just like they used to. But I looked after them. The rabbits were neither restless nor afraid. They had a very good time. I lay there looking after them. Nothing should happen to them and I would be ready at any time if there was a need to take Molly and Sandy into the conservatory. They both slept when it was night and when the storm was at its worst. The storm peaked at midnight. Bites of hay were given because once you have rattled the bag, there is no way around it. You can't stop the rabbits. They come running at the slightest crackling sound. They also got some delicious herb mix to snack of.
