There are now two windows in our shed!

The windows are the first thing we have installed, and put in the skeleton of the shed. It actually took quite a bit of time compared to what we expected it to take. However, it took quite a long time, and a lot of patience, to change all the panes in one window, so perspex was put in instead. We have decided that all the panes must be perspex, i.e. plastic, as otherwise it would be too dangerous, if a stone or a branch hit the window and it would shatter into a thousand pieces, whereas perspex would not break in the same way, and is therefore not as dangerous for the rabbits. It would be a disaster if shards of glass were everywhere and there was a risk that the rabbits would get them in their paws. It's an unbearable thought, so we don't take that risk and choose the safe route instead. So after we had carefully removed the panes, a sealing strip also had to be installed to ensure that the water did not run directly onto the bars, and thus onto the wood.
We had also got the large panoramic window home, which meant that we could also put it up, and it also only took a handful of hours and then it was also installed. I am SO glad that I also chose to put a large panoramic window in, because it gives rise to lots of light inside, and then it's a nice view out onto the field. When you stand inside and look out, you get the feeling that you are standing in the middle of a rainforest or another place with very dense vegetation.

You can also see the other window in the back. We're sorry that we don't have a photo of that |

You can almost not see that there's a window there |
