Free roamed and indoor visits
Our rabbits are outdoor rabbits that means they live outside in a rabbit run on a daily basis in all kinds of weather but that does not mean that they can not come inside sometimes. It's also something they enjoy, they love exploring new places and opportunities. They like to be inside the house for several hours at a time but keep in mind the temperature must be reasonable both outside and inside, otherwise you can ventilate well so that the heat or cold comes in. I've said it before but there must not be the big temperature differeneses when it comes to rabbits. They do have difficulty adjusting to the weather and adapting to changes. Therfere choose a season like summer where there isn't much difference in the temperature if you want to have a visitor like your rabbit.
There are many who have decorated their house or apartment for their rabbit sake and it's definitely also something you can do with yours but you should still keep in mind that it's always the best thing to have rabbits outdoors as it can much better regulate its own temperature, adapt to the light and then it's in its right element where it can use all its instincts. I would recommend just taking the rabbit on small visits inside once in a while, if you are missing a nice visit from your little furball.
It's also always cozy to decor the room for a rabbit so it will be as nice as possible. It has to feel safe in its framework. There're a lot of rabbit owners who have their rabbit(s) free roam throughout the house or maybe just in a few rooms. It can be expensive to put all the necessary things in the house that your bunny at a minimum needs and then there are all the extra things that can also be a lot of fun to have for your rabbit. But having said that, it's all worth it when you see the rabbit enjoy it and jump around.
Our house is not very big so there is no room for the rabbits to have their very own room which I definitely would make if the opportunity comes. Furthermore, they have to enjoy their our own small rooms where we sleep ourselves. There are quite a few other things, like television, closets, dresser that fills though, I want to make it as cozy and nice even though. It's actually quite fun to decor a room for a rabbit so maybe you should try it?
If your rabbit is free roamed and you would like to tell us how you have decorated your house / apartment, please write and comment! We'd love to hear about your rabbits and how you take care of them.
